I had the opportunity this morning to read about an amazing young woman. A woman that is the definition of optimism. A young woman that shines with the radiance God has give her. Please forgive me. I know I am terrible at blogging, but I am trying. Ok, well this started out to be a blog for both me and my husband, and after a very short time (I mean before the wedding). It some how became my blog. For those of you that know me, you know I have issues with certain types of communication (i.e. letter writing, internet chat, e-mail, blog, phone calls. so pretty much if you are not in front of me to keep my attention, I become spacey and …..)
Why do we cry when we are scared? That seems like a strange response to fear. You would think maybe run, hide, fight, but cry. It is like saying “feel sorry for me, I have snot running down my face, my eyes are blood shot, I can’t see and my face is splotchy.” Why cry? And the thing is I know I have done it before. Pretty much at the thought of having surgery, I get scared and start to cry. I even once told my parents I would keep my room clean until I moved out in order to avoid surgery, I was 13, they didn’t take my offer.
It is just, fear bring some of the strangest reactions I can think of. Happiness brings laughter, anger brings yelling, sadness bring tears, confusion brings doe eyes, frustration brings creased forehead, but fear bringing tears? What happen to fight or flight. No where in there is cry. It isn’t Fight, flight or cry. So why do we cry when we are scared?
Well that is my random ramble for the day.
